国营新都机械厂旧址

1958----1964年间由我国自行设计、施工建成的国营新都机械厂（420厂）是我国第二座生产喷气式歼击机发动机的工厂。工厂占地面积85公顷，员工曾达2.1万人，是当时成都东郊工业区最大的军工企业，为我国的国防事业做出了巨大的贡献。
Site of State-operated Xindu Machinery Factory
Between 1958 and 1964, the State-run Xindu Machinery Factory (Factory 420), designed and built by ourselves, was the second plant in China producing jet-propelled fighter. Covering 85 hectare, it was staffed with 21,000 workers and was the largest military industrial enterprise in Chengdu Eastern Suburb Industrial Zone, making significant contribution to national defense of China.
