1913年，四川省立第一中学从玉皇观街迁来本街的清代右司衙门旧址，在“五四”运动之后成为成都革命风气最浓的中学，中国共产党早期重要领导人、李鹏之父李硕勋，中国共产党在文化战线的重要领导人阳翰笙均是该校学生，我国著名地质学家黄汲清也毕业于该校。

        Site of the First Middle School of Sichuan

        In 1913, the First Middle School of Sichuan was removed from Yuhuangguan Street to the former site of Yousi Yamen of the Qing Dynasty in this street and became the middle school with the most intensive revolutionary spirits in Chengdu after the May Fourth Movement. Li Shuoxun, important leader in the early years of CPC and father of Li Peng, and Yang Hansheng, important leader of CPC in cultural front, as well as the famous geologist in China Huang Jiqing were graduated from this school.
