抗日战争时期的成都曾经遭受日本侵略者的轰炸31次，共计死1762人，伤3575人。为了对付日军的空袭，在这里的城墙中修建了约170平方米的防空洞，并在此成立了四川省防空指挥部。新中国成立之后，用作成都水表厂的油料仓库，现作为成都城墙的遗址得以保存。

        Site of Air-raid Shelter in Anti-Japanese War Period

        In the period of Anti-Japanese War, Chengdu was bombed by Japanese invader for 31 times, 1,762 people died and 3,575 people wounded. To defend air raid of the Japanese, an air-raid shelter covering about 170m2 was built and Air Defense Command Headquarters of Sichuan Province was set up here. After the founding of New China, it was used as the oil depot of Chengdu Water Meter Plant and is now preserved as site of Chengdu city wall.
