金河宾馆所在地是清代驻防成都的八旗军队最高统帅成都驻防将军的衙门，简称将军衙门。民国时期长期由军方使用，曾是全省最大特务机构四川省特种工作委员会驻地，设有关押政治犯的监狱。新中国成立之后在这里设立了成都军区第三招待所，后改建为金河宾馆。

        Jiangjun Yamen

        The location of today’s Jinhe Hotel, Jiangjun Yamen for short, was the office for the Garrison General of Chengdu, the supreme commander of Ba Qi garrisoned in Chengdu in the Qing Dynasty. Set with prisons to imprison political prisoners, it was occupied by the military in Republican Period and was the station of Sichuan Special law enforcement Commission, the largest secret police agency throughout Sichuan. After the founding of New China, the 3rd guesthouse of Chengdu Military Region was set up here, which was then reconstructed as Jinhe Hotel.
