        Baojia Lane

It was Yongming Lane of Shaocheng (Inner City) of Chengdu in the Qing Dynasty and was renamed Baojia Alley after the Xinhai Revolution. In 1920, Sichuan Ground Force Medical School was removed to this street and then became today’s Chengdu Maternity & Children’s Hospital. It was removed to the western suburban in 2010. It is calculated that about 400,000 Chengdu people were born in this hospital. Famous acupuncturist, Ye Xinqing, and famous Sichuan restaurant “Gugu Yan” once started businesses here.
