怀德堂

第七批全国重点文物保护单位，原华西协合大学事务所。由美国罗恩甫为纪念白槐氏捐建，1915年动工，1919年建成。英国建筑师荣杜易设计，采用倒拱形结构，为中西合璧的建筑范式。曾用作学校行政事务办公室、文科教室、礼堂等。抗战期间，参访政要有蒋介石、美国副总统华莱士等。
The Whiting Memorial Administration Building
It, the studio of West China Union University, listed as a State Protected Historic Site of the seventh batch. It was completed in 1919 from 1915, designed by Fred Rowntree, an architect of Britain. Western and Chinese styles are combined into it, featuring an inverted arch structure and used as the Administration Affairs Office, classroom of Arts Department and assembly hall. During the anti-Japanese war, it was visited by political leaders like Chiang Kai-shek, Henry A. Wallace, former vice president of the USA, etc.
