
仁厚街原为清代少城的仁厚胡同,辛亥革命后以《管子·富国》:“其仁厚足以安之”之句改名仁厚街。有“中国的梵高”、“大千之后蜀中第一人”之誉的当代国画大师陈子庄晚年住在本街原11号,他的很多传世名作在此完成,并由此流向中外。
Renhou Street
It was Renhou Lane of Shaocheng (Inner City) in the Qing Dynasty, after the Xinhai Revolution, it was renamed as Renhou Street, which originated from Xun Zi • Rich Country “Sufficient Kindness secures of generosity”. Chen Zizhuang, a modern Chinese painting master, won the reputation of “Chinese Van Gogh” and “The First Person of Sichuan after Chang Dai-chien”, lived in former #11 of this street and finished his most famous masterpieces here, which were flowed to home and abroad.
