娘娘庙街原为清代少城的积善胡同，辛亥革命后因为有娘娘庙而改名娘娘庙街，新中国成立之后并入了新开的商业后街。1921年至1924年，中国共产党在四川的早期领导人杨闇公和吴玉章在此居住。杨闇公之弟、当时在成都高师附中读书的杨尚昆也在此居住。

        Niangniangmiao Street

        It is Jishan Lane of Shaocheng (Inner City) in the Qing Dynasty, renamed Niangniangmiao Street for Temple of Goddess after the Xinhai Revolution, and incorporated in new Shangye Street after the establishment of New China. Yang Angong and Wu Yuzhang, early leaders of the CPC in Sichuan were lived here from 1921 to 1924. Yang Shangkun, brother of Yang Angong lived here too when studied in Attached Middle School of Chengdu Normal College.
