小通巷原为清代少城的仁风胡同，辛亥革命后改名小通巷，著名文艺家曾孝谷出生并生活于此。曾孝谷是我国去日本学习西洋画的第一个研究生，他组建了我国第一个话剧团体“春柳社”，创作并演出了我国第一出话剧“黑奴吁天录”，也是成都第一个西洋画教师和油画家。

        Xiaotong Alley

        Xiaotong Alley was Renfeng Lane of Shaocheng (Inner City) in the Qing Dynasty ,renamed Xiaotong Alley after the Xinhai Revolution; and Zeng Xiaogu, a famous writer and artist, was born and lived here. Zeng Xiaogu was the first graduate student to learn western painting in Japan and the first western painting teacher and oil painter in Chengdu, organized the first drama group “Chunliu Association” of China, and created and performed the first drama “Uncle Tom's Cabin” of China.
