焦家巷原为清代少城的上升胡同，辛亥革命后改名焦家巷。抗战时期的中共川康特委机关曾经设在此巷20号。著名藏学家，《藏汉大辞典》主编张怡荪，和著名古典文学专家、四川师范大学教授屈守元曾经家住于此。民国时期，该巷曾经有成都著名小吃“马红苕”。

        Jiaojia Alley

        It was Shangsheng Lane of Shaocheng (Inner City) in the Qing Dynasty, renamed Jiaojia Alley after the Xinhai Revolution. Office of Chuankang Special Committee of the CPC was set in No. 20 of the alley in the against japanese army Period. Zhang Yisun, a famous Tibetologist and chief editor of Tibet-Chinese Dictionary, and Qu Shouyuan, famous classical literature expert and professor of Sichuan Normal University were lived here. “Ma’s Sweet Potato”, a famous Chengdu snack appeared in this alley in the Republican Period.
