又称“满城”,位于成都城区西部,是清康熙年间为八旗官兵与家属修建的“城中城”。“少城”城墙周长约2700米,高约4.3米,有5座城门。城内以长顺街为中轴,共有八旗官街8条、兵丁街巷42条、通道5条。大致范围是:北至今西大街,南至今君平街,东至今东城根街,西至今同仁路。城内绿荫掩映,花木扶疏,是成都城区最佳的居住区。辛亥革命之后,“少城”不再保留,对外开放,城墙从1912年开始拆除,到1935年全部拆完,“少城”作为一个城中城完全消失,只是作为一个片区名称而留在人们心中。
Shao Cheng
Also known as Man Cheng and located in the west of Downtown Chengdu, it was built by the officers and their families of the Eight Banners as the City of City. Its wall is about 2,700m in in girth and about 4.3m in height, built with 5 gates. Changshun Street is taken as the central axis, followed by 8 Eight Banners Official Streets, 42 Soldiers Streets and Alleys, 5 Entryways. Roughly, it reaches the present Xida Street to the north, Junping Street to the south, Dongchenggen Street to the east and Tongren Road to the west. After the Revolution of 1911, Shaocheng was officially open to the public and 23 years were taken to tear down the walls from 1912 to 1935. Shaocheng, as the City of City, was vanished but left in people’s memory as a name.
