原位于小天竺街187号的进益助产校及附属产科医院，是西南地区首座传播新法接生技术，培养助产士的学校。1931年，玛利安•曼利修女受美国基督教会卫理公会支持创办。1939年，韩素音来此学习助产士，写出自传体小说《目的地重庆》。此处是韩素音走向世界的起点。

        Jinyi Obstetrics School Site
        The Jinyi Midwifery School and Affiliate Obstetrics Hospital, located at No.187, Xiaotianzhu Street, was the first school publicizing new delivery techniques and cultivating midwives. In 1931, it was built by Sister Marian Manly with supports of the Methodist Church, United Church of Christ, USA. In 1939, Han Suyin came to learn midwifery and wrote an autobiographical novel Destination Chungking. It was her starting point to be famous in the world.
